A Lighter Church Moment

In a church in Umlazi one Sunday morning a preacher said, "Anyone with 'special needs' who wants to be prayed over, please come forward to the front of the altar."

With that, Sipho got in line and when it was his turn the Preacher asked, "Sipho, what do you want me to pray about for you?"

He replied, "Preacher, I need you to pray for help with my hearing."

The preacher put one finger of one hand in Sipho's ear, placed his other hand on top of Sipho's head, and then prayed and prayed and the whole congregation joined in with much enthusiasm.

After a few minutes, the preacher removed his hands, stood back and asked, "Sipho, how is your hearing now?"

Sipho answered, "I don't know. My hearing is only next Thursday."

日本公佈-活百歲不痴呆的12個秘訣

早起習慣:

1.起床後馬上喝杯溫開水。人體在一夜睡眠中會丟失500毫升水分,起床後需要立刻補充。而且溫開水有助提升體溫,體溫每上升 1,人體基礎代謝也會隨之提高10%

運動習慣:
1.適當出汗。運動量要以出汗為宜,幫助排出體內蓄積的毒素。
2.設法減重5%。健康活到百歲者的一大共同特徵就是不胖,體重只要降低5%,得糖尿病和高血壓的風險就會下降。
3.每天步行30分鐘。有研究表明,死亡率最高的人是那些平時幾乎不走路的人,每天步行30分鐘,能促進血液循環,有助健康長壽。


晚飯習慣:
1.生吃洋蔥。洋蔥所含的硫化物能預防動脈硬化和高血壓,生吃效果更好,建議切成薄片,做成蔬菜色拉吃。
2.晚上七點後不吃東西。脂肪在半夜2點最易蓄積,如果此時處於空腹狀態,脂肪就不易蓄積,按照一般消化時間推算,就要在晚七點後不吃東西。

The Wonder of Pomegranate Seeds (石榴)

There is no need to speculate and evaluate just give it a try, you should be able to experience a significant difference. However it may not work for some of you then you will require more help like special exercises and herbs and supplements.

For those who want scientific, evidence based medical reports which are peer reviewed, please wait and be patient. The choice is yours but do not pooh-pooh this recommendation just because your doctor friend says that such info is rubbish and the process is a hocus pocus. You will only parroting what little your doctor knows as what you know is definitely a lot less than what he knows.

There are ready medical procedures which can give you almost instant relief and solve your problem. They are a heart bypass or angioplasty which has a pretty good record of 97 to 98% success rate. The other alternative which is also very effective but may take more than 6 months to a year or more is chelation therapy and ECP.

A bypass in a private hospital may cost anything between RM 80,000 to RM 150,000. Angioplasty may cost from RM 10,000 to RM 25,000. Chelation therapy may range from RM 6,000 to RM 20,000. The success rate is approximately the same for all these solutions, the choice is yours.

Some who can afford to do so may choose to go to Singapore, Australia or even the US then they may have to multiply the budget by a factor of 2.5 to 5.

Don't know the truth of this, but no harm trying, I suppose, if you have partially-blocked veins/arteries, or even heart problems.

Amazing result was observed, the decoction of dried pomegranate seeds worked like a magic, the feelings of tightness and heaviness of chest and the pain had gone.

It encouraged me to try more experiments on all types of cardiac patients so I tried other experiments on patients who were suffering from painful angina, coronary arterial blockage, cardiac ischemia (insufficient blood flow to the heart muscle) etc., waiting for a bypass surgery.

Use of pomegranate in any way has demonstrated even more dramatic effects as blood thinner, pain killing properties for cardiac patients, lowers LDL (low-density lipoprotein or bad cholesterol) and raises the HDL (high-density lipoprotein or good cholesterol). There are more than 50 different types of heart diseases, the most common being coronary artery disease (CAD), which is the number one killer of both women and men in some countries, and there has been no medicinal cure for this disease.

Many cardiac patients have reversed their heart diseases on my advice using
one glass of lukewarm decoction of pomegranate dried seeds, half glass of fresh pomegranate juice or eating a whole pomegranate on empty stomach in the morning. It was the very first real breakthrough in the history of cardiology to successfully treat the cardiac diseases by a fruit.

The more super foods to obtain the even faster results for cardiac patients which are most promising curative and protective agents like
fresh raisins, quince, guava, prunes (dried plums), natural vinegar, mixture of grape fruit juice and honey in the morning (empty stomach), basil leaves, chicory leaves, powder of oregano leaves and rock salt in equal quantity (in case the patient is not hypertensive) and sesame oil as cooking oil for cardiac patients.

It is regretted to say that treating the heart patients and bypass surgery has become far more profitable business around the world which has failed to help avert life threatening heart attacks and life time cardiac complications resulting in almost paralyzed life.

日常刷牙的8个错误方式

    俗话说,牙痛不是病,痛起来要人命。尽管如此之怕,有牙病需要看医生的人却越来越多,这里面有一个重要原因,就是我们从小坚持的一些爱牙护齿的习惯,有可能是错的!

  错误1. 冷水刷牙

  冷水会导致牙本质敏感的人牙齿酸痛,而且不利于牙膏内的有效物质发挥活性。

  牙膏中的主要成分是摩擦剂和氟化物,实验室研究发现,这些有效成分发挥作用的最佳温度是37摄氏度左右。

  建议:刷牙时用接近自己体温的温水效果最好。

错误2. 刷牙使劲太大

  刷牙的时候力量太大,可能伤害牙齿。

  建议:200克的力量就足够,大约相当于手指拿起一支冰棒的力量,使用手腕的力量刷牙而不是手臂的。
         错误3. 刷牙横着刷

  调查显示,超过90%的中国人采用横向刷牙的形式。刷牙对牙釉质是一种物理磨损。

  刷牙的目的是为了清除牙齿表面和缝隙里的细菌,而不是损伤牙齿本身。

  横向刷牙一方面无法清除掉牙齿缝隙里的垃圾,同时还可能导致牙齿根部楔形缺损、牙龈损伤、牙本质敏感等问题。

  建议:正确的刷牙方式是顺着牙齿的缝隙竖着刷。

错误4.  刷牙时间太短

  很多人以为刷牙的目的是清除食物残渣,其实不完全如此。清水漱口可以清除掉90%以上的食物残渣,认真刷牙的目的是消灭牙菌斑。

  牙菌斑是一种附着在牙齿表面和牙龈缝隙里的无色细菌,是导致龋齿和牙龈炎症的祸首,中国人每次刷牙的平均时间为59秒,这个时间对完全彻底地清理口腔是不够的。

  建议:刷牙不少于2分钟。先漱口,湿润有利于牙膏中有效成分起作用,从门牙开始细致地竖向刷干净,尤其是齿缝和牙齿内侧等容易忽视的地方。

由于牙菌斑的生长周期是12~24小时,所以即使出差在外,24小时也至少要刷牙一次。

错误5.  刷牙时间不对

  98%的中国人每天早起刷牙,然后吃早餐。这样的结果是,牙膏里的有效护齿成分并没有太多机会留在牙齿上,而是随着早餐吃到了肚子里。

  建议:饭后20分钟刷牙。起床后清水漱口,吃早饭,饭后20分钟刷牙才是最健康的。尤其在喝了酸性饮料或吃了酸性水果后,最好在20分钟后等这些物质对牙齿的影响过去后再刷牙,避免对牙齿表面造成更大的伤害。

错误6.  刷牙后漱口次数太多

  牙膏中的一些有效成分需要保留一些在牙齿的表面来形成保护层,保持一段时间细菌不会快速生长,过多漱口就没有这个作用了。有人还会用清水再刷一次牙,这是帮细菌伤害自己牙齿的傻行为。

  建议:1次漱口10秒就够。实验发现,刷牙后当我们吐出第一口漱口水的时候,95%的有效成分都被吐掉了,第二口又会吐出剩余5%中的95%

  所以用牙膏刷牙后漱口一次就可以了,漱口时间保持10秒左右就好。

  错误7.  口腔干燥、熬夜、喝水少

  这些情况会导致龋齿高发。现在的人对着电脑的时间多,开口说话的时间少,唾液的分泌也会相应减少。

  唾液有平衡口腔生态的功能,晚上11点以后人们的口腔环境会开始进入干燥期,而口腔干燥会使细菌滋生。

  建议:多喝绿茶和清水。绿茶除了补充水分,其中含有的氟化物还能保护牙齿不被细菌侵害。
错误8.  用大牙刷才刷得干净
 
     每个人的牙齿有大有小,牙刷太大,在口腔内执行任务会不够灵活,牙刷太小,又无法完成大面积的口腔清洁工作。
 
    建议:选择一把大小合适的牙刷,牙齿头的大小应该等于2个半到3个牙齿的宽度。
 
     一把牙刷的使用寿命最好不超过1个月,电动牙刷3个月更换一次牙刷头因为电动牙刷的力度更温和,而且刷毛的设计更利于牙齿清洁,所以使用的寿命可以更长。
     6种食物最伤牙

   6种食物分别为软饮料(可乐、果汁等)、运动饮料、酸味糖果、能量饮料、水果和醋。

 食物对牙齿的损害,其实就在于其中所含的酸性物质,这些酸性物质会溶解牙釉,进而导致蛀牙。

 小窍门减少伤害

 两餐之间少吃零食; 用吸管喝饮料,减少牙齿直接接触酸性物质的几率;饭后用清水漱口或者咀嚼无糖口香糖;在餐前或就餐过程中喝高钙奶或者吃奶酪进食后至少20分钟后刷牙用含氟牙膏。
